We are located in the picturesque village of Sint-Isidorushoeve in Overijssel. Since 1997, our farm has been equipped with the innovative Peter's Farm system, a pioneering way of rearing calves that offers the animals more freedom and comfort. It was my father-in-law who immediately fell under the charm of this system. In 2000, I took over the business with my wife Sandra and we continued on the same footing. Once you start using the Peter's Farm system, you'll never want to go back. 

Thanks to a webcam linked to the Peter's Farm website, everyone can take a look inside our farm. This allows you to see how well the calves are being cared for and how comfortable they are. What is unique about Peter's farm is that the calves can choose when and how much to drink, which clearly benefits their welfare.

Sandra, who used to work as a maternity nurse, now has a job in disability care in addition to her farm work. As well as working on the farm, I am on the board of the town's sports complex/community centre, and my job is to maintain the building and grounds. 
Many people appreciate this commitment to the local community. Hobbies are an important part of our lives. Sandra enjoys walking, reading and is a keen supporter of FC Twente soccer club, as well as working in her garden. I like tinkering around and solving technical problems.
