Stewing veal



  1. Take the veal out of the fridge
  2. Allow the veal to come to room temperature for about 1 hour
  3. Take a frying pan with a lid
  4. By using meat tongs you won't puncture the meat
  5. Put the flame up high
  6. Place the pan on the flame and allow it to get hot
  7. Turn the flame to medium low
  8. Put the butter in the pan
  9. Allow the butter to bubble
  10. Put the veal in the pan
  11. Fry the veal for about 5 minutes
  12. Add vegetables and herbs to the pan
  13. Deglaze with some beer and/or wine and broth until the vegetables and veal are just about covered
  14. Put on low flame with the lid on the pan
  15. Stir the veal and vegetables 3 to 4 times during stewing
  16. The mixture will take about 1 hour of stewing to bind and afterwards season with herbs and/or spices.
  17. Enjoy your veal, bon appétit!
